Apis Partners is interested in investing in Southeast Asia


London headquartered private equity asset manager Apis Partners LLP invested $32 million in DOKU, an Indonesian digital payment firm that is owned by tech & media firm Emtek Group. DOKU, founded in 2007 earns the majority of its revenue by processing online payments for large & small businesses in Southeast Asia’s largest & fastest growing e-commerce economy estimated at about $40 billion. The co-founder & managing director Matteo Stefanel believes in investing in payment gateways in Africa & other parts of Southeast Asia & India.
