Gartner Inc. predicts the growth of end-user spending on IT services in India to $18 million in 2021, which would be a sudden rise of 10.7% from 2020.
Arup Roy, research vice president at Gartner says, “The Indian IT services market has increased in the course of a pandemic where remote working & digitized projects are on the surge.”
In terms of end-user spending, a rise would be seen in consulting segment from $4.1 billion to $4.6 billion in 2021. A decline of 2.8% will be observed in the hardware support sector due to a reduction in client device support & data center support systems. Organizations in India are preferring a cloud-only or cloud-first model which would register the highest growth in infrastructure as a service (IaaS).
