RERA to take action against non-compliance of orders by Supertech

Realty developer Supertech has assured the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) that it will comply with at least 70% of orders by August. The chairman of Supertech, R K Arora, said that by August occupancy certificate of four projects- Eco Village-1, Eco Village-2, Eco Village-3 & Supertech Upcountry will be obtained & 140 allottees will get possession. UP RERA chairman, Rajive Kumar told that the compliance was done in only 101 cases & strict action will be taken for any non-compliance henceforth. Arora has ensured that project-wise & complaint-wise action plans for compliance of orders will be submitted. Supertech has 40 registered projects, out of which 26 lapses & only 8 of them are completed by the promoter. Rajive Kumar is planning for a speedy redressal plan in order to complete the remaining projects. In case there is any negligence in the compliance of orders a punitive action will be taken under section 63 of the RERA act.
